Certification Matters

When building or renovation a home we often look for savings in many areas to help keep costs in line. Trimming substrates, materials, finishes and fixtures can sometime make a difference in the budget and help save a few dollars on the build. However, one way NOT to save your budget is to cut corners with your certified professionals building your homes systems. From electricians, carpenters, welders, plumbers to HVAC specialists and even your general contractors, professional certification matters.

We have heard it all in our industry “my uncle used to be an electrical” or “my plumber is still in school but will do” even, “i’ll just install the furnace myself, how hard can it be?”

These may on first thought be a viable shortcut to saving some money, but in the long run, it could cost you your home, your insurance and even your life.
It’s simply not worth the risk. It’s also against the law.

At Lakeland Multi-Trade & Residential we only employ certified professional trades people and this gives our clients the knowledge, comfort and trust the the job is going to be done safe and done right.
